Here’s my query: how/why did Vera Wang (fashion designer) and Anna Wintour (Vogue Magazine) make the WH guest list for supper with the Chinese Pres? Not that I have anything against this; on the contrary, I one day hope to be in Anna Wintour’s editorial shoes, and so an invite to a State dinner sounds quite lovely, but still… any ideas?
